Thank you to everyone who joined us for Day on the Hill on April 1, 2026. Advocates and partners from across Tennessee came together in Nashville to connect with lawmakers and advocate for policies that support survivors and strengthen Tennessee’s response to domestic and sexual violence.
Each year, advocates, survivors, service providers, and community partners from across Tennessee come together at the State Capitol to raise their voices for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
Hosted by the Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic & Sexual Violence in partnership with the Sexual Assault Center, Day on the Hill connects participants with lawmakers, provides updates on key policy priorities, and creates opportunities to advocate for policies that strengthen services, improve systems, and support survivors across Tennessee.

Most legislative offices are located in the Cordell Hull Building, which is connected to the Capitol complex.
The most important part of Day on the Hill is the pre-scheduled meetings with legislators.
We strongly recommend:
• Planning to park at least one hour before the scheduled event, OR
• Arriving at the legislative offices at least 30 minutes early
The building is eight stories tall and can take time to navigate.
