The Tennessee Domestic Violence State Coordinating Council (DVSCC) brings together leaders from across Tennessee to strengthen the state’s response to domestic violence through collaboration, education, policy development, and accountability.

Established by the Tennessee General Assembly in 1995, the Council develops model policies and training curricula for law enforcement and the courts while overseeing standards, certification, and recertification for Tennessee’s Batterers’ Intervention Programs (BIPs).

The Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic & Sexual Violence provides administrative support to the DVSCC and its committees, facilitating statewide collaboration and supporting the Council’s mission to improve coordinated community responses to domestic violence.
