Address Confidentiality Program
The Safe at Home Address Confidentiality Program is a free statewide program administered by the Tennessee Secretary of State. It helps eligible survivors of domestic abuse, stalking, human trafficking, rape, sexual battery, and other sexual offenses keep their home address confidential in many public records. Approved participants receive a substitute mailing address that can be used for many state and local government records and services.
A trained application assistant will help determine eligibility and complete your application.
If approved, you’ll receive a substitute mailing address that can be used instead of your home address.
Mail sent to your substitute address is securley forwarded to your confidential address.
Using a substitute address helps reduce the risk that someone can locate your home through public records.
