Immigrant Legal Clinic
The Coalition’s Immigrant Legal Clinic works with immigrant survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. The Clinic helps clients with immigration issues related to their victimization, including securing U-Visas. The Clinic staffs a diverse group of attorneys and bilingual advocates who are committed to helping every client regardless of their background, national origin, race, sexual orientation, gender, language, or immigration status. Training & Education
The Coalition offers a variety of training opportunities including a statewide Annual Conference, Webinar Wednesdays, Rape Prevention Education Institute, the Senator Tommy Burkes Victim Assistance Academy, Inclusivity Committee Lunch & Learns, Batterer’s Intervention Programs trainings, virtual on-demand courses, and financial and legal advocacy trainings. The Coalition also offers in-person training and technical assistance tailored to, and at the request of, our member programs.
Technical Assistance
The Coalition provides direct assistance to build the capacity of victim service providers, law enforcement, criminal justice and other allied organizations to respond effectively to sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking and human trafficking.
Regional Education & Networking
The Coalition offers regional advocacy trainings including the VOCA-TA Regional Stakeholders meetings and Legal Advocacy trainings. These trainings are offered across all three regions of the state and include topics such as Dynamics of Domestic Violence, Domestic Violence in Children & Families, Stalking, Orders of Protection, Inclusivity, Community Collaboration, and Primary Prevention of Violence. The Coalition also host Executive Director and College/University round-table meetings that give professionals and community activists opportunities for networking.
Public Policy Advocacy
The Coalition advocates for policies that increase victim safety, strengthen victim services, and prevent domestic and sexual violence.

Information & Support
The Coalition provides ongoing support and up-to-date resources, including scholarly research, information and guidance on changing state and federal laws, and best practices, to member agencies and allied professionals.
The Coalition provides survivors with referrals to connect them with local programs and community resources to meet their needs for support, safety, housing, legal services, and more. The Coalition also operates an Emergency Financial Assistance Fund which provides eligible survivors with financial support in their journey to safety.
Lending Library
The Coalition curates a library which includes hundreds of books, dvds, and training activities on topics ranging from Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking, to Gender, Trauma Informed Care, and Community Activism. The resources in this library are available to all Coalition Members to borrow for personal or organizational use.
